As I listened to this I could not help but think of the great scientists and astrologers and nature observers of ancient times. They watched the skies for knowledge of time and weather and seasons. This they did to educate themselves and others for the survival of their people and for some humanity. They fought naysayers and powermongers intent on using misinformation to create controlled worlds. Yet these brave observers knew the truth. Some died for it some suffered great physical harm and societal disenfranchisement. But their facts and truths have endured while the lies became exposed and ridiculed by intelligent beings. In the end the great observers won. There was little way to convey their ideas. Yet they became widespread knowledge for their veracity. The truth will always prevail bc of its endurance. It doesn’t need Google or computers. It needs good intelligent observers ready to convey it in any way they can.

Presently listening to “Lost Worlds of South America” professor Edwin Barnhart. Much to admire about early civilization & much to be wary of as they were living in a sometimes mutual compatibility starting out as egalitarian city states. No evidence of warlike iconology until a later period closer to A.D. This is when as evidence suggests & elite class evolved. It behooves us to learn & study history including archaeology of ancient civilization. All was not glorious. But South American evolution has much to honor & appreciate as an advancement of civilization.
